Tuesday Potters

Welcome to pottery. We are delighted to have you with us.

Annual membership to Tweed Unlimited Arts is $30 due in March each year.

The daily pottery fee is $20.

Your $20 daily fee to our Pottery Group includes pottery wheels, computer access to the internet, a library, glazes, oxides, slab roller, coil extruder, glazing booth, wedging benches, moulds and a variety of hand tools.

Pottery days run from 9am until 4pm.

Most potters have their own basic pottery tools which they bring every week however there are plenty here to choose from until you can accumulate your own supply. You can purchase basic pottery tools from the discount stores.

Clay glazes and firings, at additional cost, are available to members on site. Available firings include electric, gas fired and raku kilns.

There are many experienced potters in our group who will skill share with new potters. If you have not used some of our equipment, or it has been a long time, please ask for assistance.

Your $20 daily fee includes mentoring by Lyndall Bensley on alternate months commencing February.

Twice a year we open up Tweed Unlimited Arts to the public. We showcase and sell what we have made throughout year with a minimal commission attached to sales.
